CPC® Preparation Class (Starting 1/10)
This is a 16 week preparatory course designed to teach you the fundamentals of Medical Coding utilizing the AAPC curriculum. Once you have successfully completed this course, you will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coder test offered by AAPC and well on your way to starting a new career.
Not only are our instructors certified and approved through AAPC but they have been training for more than twenty years. Our classes are small to allow for more one-on-one interaction between the student and instructor.
In addition to learning the fundamentals of Medical Coding utilizing the AAPC curriculum, you will receive the following course materials:
• 2017 AMA CPT Professional: Official American Medical Association code book with codes,
descriptions, and their guidelines for use.
• 2017 HCPCS Level II Expert: Details Medicare’s National Level II procedure codes for DME,
drugs, and other medical supplies all in the HCPCS Level II Expert.
• 2017 ICD-10- CM Codebook: This diagnostic code set is used in physician offices and outpatient
facilities, with intuitive color-coded symbols, alerts and illustrations.
• 2017 AAPC CPC Textbook & Practical Application Workbook
• One (1) Year AAPC Membership
